REMEDY Music Project - ABOUT US

THE REMEDY MISSION
Inspire people to embrace a 'closer to reality' perception of the world to people by engaging and promoting self-expression through music.

our statement of belief
We believe that each individual’s perception of the world is only a small fraction of what the world truly is; this often times prevents each one of us from being able to recognize the unfortunate realities that exist in the world. We believe that by using the power of music, we can help inspire people to create and become remedies for these realities and build communities of people who are motivated by and work for similar passions.

who we are
Originally founded in 2006, Remedy Music Project is UC BerkeleyÕs premier, student-run, concert production group that aims to feature not big-name artists, but artists who are students just like you. Our goals are twofold: (1) provide student artists the opportunity to share their work and (2) use the campusÕ musical talent to promote awareness of important global issues.

what we do
Each semester we put on two major events. One mid-semester concert that features student artists in a chill, casual environment and one big concert featuring student artists in a more large-scale concert production setting at the end of the semester. We also hold social events & outings throughout the semester and provide great leadership experience and development opportunities for each individual.
